Yorkshire Dales Homes Development Ready to View
The final phase of development of new executive homes at Church View in the Nidderdale village of Dacre Banks, North Yorkshire, is nearing completion with the last six homes now available to view by appointment.
Joint venture developers Gregory Property Group and Ridgefield Property recently completed two further sales at Church View which is a cluster development of just 22 homes in a highly desirable and picturesque location.
The partnership, which specialises in building bespoke homes in select locations, have reported an increased interest in the scheme following the impact of the pandemic with a requirement for more flexible layouts including outdoor space commodity and direct countryside access.
Church View is one of very few new developments in the Yorkshire Dales National Park District with close proximity to the River Nidd and in a region formally recognised as an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. With 16 homes now sold and mainly occupied, just two, four bedroom semi-detached and four, four-bedroom townhouse properties remain for sale with prices from £374,950. A new Show Home will be available to view from May.
John McGhee at Gregory Property Group said, “We are delighted to be able to showcase the last six homes for sale at Church View. Since the homes are discreetly designed from the roadside it is only possible to appreciate the sheer size and specification on multi floor levels by internal viewing. The design of all townhouses and semi-detached properties at Church View offer four storey accommodation.
“We have seen increased interest in the development, particularly to support flexible use of space. The advent of home working as the ‘new normal’ has placed the study higher on the list of criteria and the countryside location is more viable due to reduced commuting needs.”
As part of the development, the partnership is supporting the local area through Section 106 contributions. These include over £35,000 to upgrade Dacre and Hartwith Village Hall and over £8,000 contribution to outdoor sports facilities in the form of improvements to Darley Head Cricket Ground
