New homes sell fast at Addingham

May 19, 2017 Posted by John Shaw Snell Developments
Airedale House, MoorLaneCroft, Addingham

House buyers have snapped up all but three of 11 new homes built in Addingham, near Ilkley – but a second phase to build another seven is to begin in July.

Independent house builder Snell Developments will be taking off-plan reservations for the next set of three-bedroom homes at an open day this Sunday [21st May] from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Moor Lane Croft site, situated to the west of the popular Wharfedale town.

The two-storey homes, built using natural stone and high specification interior design, range in price from £274,950 for a mid-terrace to £549,950 for a detached house. They have a garage or off-street parking and feature natural stone window surrounds and garden walling.

Independent sales agent John Shaw FRICS said: ” These homes are beautifully designed and built, in an excellent location and cover a wide price range – so have sold very quickly. The next set are due for completion early next year and we expect many to be sold off-plan, as with phase one.

“If any house hunters can’t make that date, we’d be happy to arrange another time.”

Four miles from the spa town of Ilkley, Addingham sits on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has its own shops, pubs and a restaurant.

Director John Snell, who runs the company with his brother Andrew, said: “We’ve been delighted by the response to our latest developments. We’re a family firm and care about the homes we build which is reflected in the quality.”
